Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam, a 60-year-old Hainanese tea restaurant that’s only open half a day, is always crowded, except on Mondays. The restaurant’s decor is reminiscent of a retro Southeast Asian atmosphere, perfect for photo ops.
Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam is incredibly popular, and even the two floors have long lines, so it’s recommended to get a number and time your visit before heading out to the surrounding Kwai Tsai Street. Recommended dishes include curry rice noodle rolls, peanut buns, nasi lemak, kaya bread, dry curry rice noodles, and Hainanese coffee.

Kuala Lumpur Tower
Kuala Lumpur Tower is a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur. It features three attractions: Sky Tower Walk, Sky Deck, and Sky Box. Those afraid of heights can choose the Sky Walk, a 452-meter-high circuit that passes through two glass floors, complete with the visual and sound effects of shattering glass.
Sky Deck KL Tower offers panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur, though they are obstructed by other buildings. My favorite is the Sky Box, a completely transparent glass box where you can experience and take photos. Just look down, and you’ll see the scenery below.

Opening Hours: 9:00am – 10:00pm (Mon to Sun)
Petronas Twin Towers
Petronas Twin Towers are Malaysia’s iconic landmarks. You can ascend to the 86th-floor observation deck or cross the 42nd-floor skybridge connecting the two towers, where telescopes are provided for breathtaking views of the city.
Petronas Twin Towers are stunning both day and night. Tickets are limited daily, so be sure to purchase them early to avoid missing out on this truly captivating experience. The entire tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

KLCC Park
KLCC Park is directly across from the main entrance to the Petronas Twin Towers. The scenery is stunning, and the location is excellent. I recommend visiting at sunset to photograph the Petronas Twin Towers.
It’s a hidden gem for capturing stunning photos without squeezing in. You can capture the perfect trifecta of greenery, water features, and the Petronas Twin Towers. I highly recommend stopping by.

Aquaria KLCC is home to a vast array of marine life, encompassing over 5,000 species of both marine and terrestrial creatures.
Feeding shows are also held daily at 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:30 PM, where staff interact with sharks and other marine life. The most unique aspect of the aquarium is the touch pool, where you can get up close and personal with sea stars, sea cucumbers, and other marine animals.

Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh
You absolutely must try Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh! Their soup base is rich in herbal flavor, so it’s typically darker and more herbal. The pork is incredibly flavorful without being dry, which is truly remarkable.
Besides the Bak Kut Teh, you can also order side dishes, including seafood, various tofu dishes, eggs, and meats. They’re all delicious.

Merdeka Square
You can see a blend of old and new architecture at Merdeka Square, with the European-style buildings appearing even more majestic and romantic.
I personally recommend visiting at night, as the night view is truly stunning! You can also ride an electric scooter here, as the road is closed to cars at night.

National Mosque
The National Mosque is the largest in Malaysia. Its interior features modern décor and a spacious interior. Professional guides provide insights into the mosque’s history.
Staff members even kneel to demonstrate the Muslim prayer method and enthusiastically explain how to take photos of each spot. It’s truly worth a visit! Best of all, there’s no entrance fee to the National Mosque.

Established in 1888, Central Market remains one of Kuala Lumpur’s most popular destinations, a truly artistic and diverse place.
Central Market Kuala Lumpur is divided into two sections: indoor and outdoor. Products sold here include handicrafts, Malaysian souvenirs, clothing, and more. If you see something you like, be sure to compare prices at other stalls, as some stalls may sell similar items at varying prices.
