While Onn Kee Ipoh is always packed, the staff are quick to serve, so even if you have to wait in line, you won’t wait too long. We highly recommend giving it a try!

Kin Loong Valley Chang Jiang White Coffee

Ipoh White Coffee is ranked among the world’s top 10 coffees, so a cup of white coffee is a must when visiting Ipoh. Kin Loong Valley Chang Jiang White Coffee is incredibly crowded on weekends, with lines forming at nearly every branch. This makes it a must-try for afternoon tea!

Their coffee is rich and mellow, and every sip is delicious. Another unique drink is the Yellow River Junction. While the name might seem strange, it’s actually a combination of white coffee and milk tea, offering a refreshing, smooth experience.

Finally, I highly recommend ordering a local favorite: toast. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the butter-and-kaya combination is a perfect match, without being overly sweet. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Tempurung Cave

One of the largest natural limestone caves in Malaysia, the Tempurung Cave boasts a variety of stalactites and stalagmites. Four tour packages are available, all with similar itineraries, varying in difficulty and length.

The dry area allows visitors to explore the cave, but only about halfway through. The wet area offers a more adventurous experience, with guided tours and explanations. Tickets can be purchased on a walk-in basis; there’s no need to buy in advance. Small groups will need to join a group to explore the cave.

Let me tell you about a special appetizer: Baba roti. This dish isn’t on the menu, but it’s a hidden gem. Try the fried bread, which is incredibly fragrant! You can get a picture or tell the server the name! The prices are above average, and the food is excellent overall – well worth a try!
